Anne turned 6 weeks old this Valentine's Day. She was 8 1/2 lbs last week and now starting to grow out of her newborn clothes. She has been teasing me with hints of a smile for several days now and am pretty sure they've been a few "real" ones. Wherever we go, people fawn over her long, spikey hair. I love how soft and fluffy it gets after bath time. I took a "bath class" at the hospital and learned a nice method for shampooing it. Provided she isn't too sleepy, she seems to relish having her hair washed. She is similarly content having her diaper changed. She is increasingly interested in looking at toys. The first toy she showed interest in was "Blue Dog."

love the pictures of baby Annie! And am still jealous of her hair. Ellie is pretty much bald. :( Bald but beautiful.
Also must mention that while we were scrolling through the pictures Lizzie saw a picture of Elijah and asked "is that brother?" Guess Henry and Elijah still look alike. :)
